Read more about the programCall +380 99 828 08 84 or fill in the contact form on this website. Consultations are held at Kyiv City Clinical Hospital #4, 17 Solomianska St.
The patient must have a signed declaration with a family doctor and schedule a pre-operative examination with a referral from their family doctor or ophthalmologist. It is also possible to be seen on a paid basis if no referral is available.
Read more about the programThe surgery takes about 15–20 minutes. Vision starts to improve the next day, with full recovery typically within a few weeks.
Cataract symptomsYes. The medical guarantees program is not tied to your place of registration — you can have the surgery in Kyiv regardless of where you live.
Yes. The medical guarantees program covers monofocal lenses, which provide clear vision at only one distance. Typically the lens is calculated for distance vision, requiring glasses for reading. For patients with myopia, the opposite approach is often chosen — good near vision while using glasses for distance. All of this is discussed and agreed upon individually with each patient.
No. Glasses prescription is not covered by the medical guarantees program and is provided as a paid service. A standard consultation does not include time for this.
Contraindications are assessed individually at the consultation. Common reasons to delay surgery include uncontrolled systemic conditions, active inflammation in the eye, or other ocular conditions in a decompensated state.
